Associate Unit
As an associate unit of the Women’s Hope International Federation, the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Development Charity Fund has long been committed to nurturing young talents in Hong Kong and internationally. The Foundation encourages youth to pursue diverse development across academics, sports, music, arts, and STEM fields. Through organizing inter-school competitions, large-scale performances, and international exchange activities, it cultivates and showcases the potential of young people in different areas, fostering Hong Kong’s elite students.
In its role as an associate unit, the Foundation works closely with the Women’s Hope International Federation to establish cross-border exchange platforms, promoting interaction between Hong Kong and global women’s organizations, and advancing the integration of innovation, technology, and social development. At the same time, the Foundation actively promotes social inclusion. Through charitable programs and resource sharing, more students benefit from innovation and technology education as well as health knowledge, realizing the vision that “knowledge changes destiny.”
The Foundation also collaborates with the Federation to host awards, forums, and exhibitions, recognizing women’s outstanding achievements in innovation, technology, and social contribution.

Main Events
The Hong Kong School Elite Competition
The Hong Kong School Elite Competition is the most widely participated academic competition among students across the city. It aims to unlock students’ potential and nurture local academic elites. Tailored for secondary students preparing for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) and the International Baccalaureate (IB), as well as primary students gearing up for the Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA), the competition covers multiple core subjects to provide practical exam preparation and performance evaluation. Beyond enhancing academic standards, the event encourages self-challenge and inter-school exchange. The annual award ceremony is held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where outstanding students are honored in the presence of principals, teachers, and parents, celebrating their achievements and joy together.
Joint School Music Festival Grand Performance
Joint School Music Festival Grand Performance is a large-scale arts event that brings together outstanding musical talents from schools across Hong Kong. Aimed at broadening students’ musical horizons and nurturing the next generation of music and arts elites, the event features performances by orchestras and choirs from local universities, secondary schools, and primary schools. Showcasing a rich diversity of musical styles and creativity, the festival provides students with a professional stage to perform, while fostering inter-school collaboration and artistic appreciation. Through cross-school performances, students not only enhance their musical skills and confidence, but also build friendships and engage in cultural exchange—collectively shaping a vibrant new era for Hong Kong’s music and arts scene.
International Ballroom and Latin Dance Seed Program
The International Ballroom and Latin Dance Seed Program aims to nurture talented young dancers and promote local arts development and cross-cultural exchange. The program actively organizes and participates in various dance competitions and exchange activities to enhance students’ technical skills and stage performance. It also connects world champion dancers with local schools to provide professional training, offering students international-level guidance and hands-on experience. Outstanding participants will have the opportunity to represent Hong Kong in prestigious international dance competitions, including the renowned Blackpool Dance Festival, showcasing the artistic strength and global vision of Hong Kong’s youth on the world stage.
HKITDC Metaverse Drawing Competition
The HKITDC Metaverse Drawing Competition is Asia’s first innovative art contest that combines a physical art exhibition with a metaverse platform. The event not only enhances students’ artistic expression but also cultivates their technological literacy and interdisciplinary thinking, allowing creativity to enter the metaverse and connect with the world. Through the integration of art and technology, the competition aims to nurture a new generation of creative tech-art talents with innovation, global perspective, and forward-thinking spirit.
