Introduction to Elderly Support Services

Women’s Hope International Federation (WHIF) is committed to promoting the well-being of women and the elderly. We actively build support platforms to respond to the growing care needs of seniors in the community. Guided by the principle of “Caring for the Community, Service-Oriented,” we offer a diverse range of elderly services to enhance their quality of life and sense of community participation.

Target Participants

  • Women aged 60 or above (some activities also welcome male seniors)

  • Residents of the local community (including those living independently, with family, or in elderly care facilities)

  • Physically able to participate in general community activities (such as seminars, workshops, or light exercise)

  • Individuals with chronic illnesses or mobility challenges should be accompanied by a caregiver or notify us in advance for support arrangements

Support Services

Community Care Support
Home visits, medical escort services, daytime activities, and mutual aid networks help seniors enjoy their later years in familiar surroundings.

Health Promotion Activities
Regular health talks, fitness exercises, free traditional Chinese medicine consultations, and pain management programs encourage healthy living habits among the elderly.

Cognitive Impairment Prevention Services
Memory training, brain stimulation activities, and early identification support help reduce the risk of cognitive decline.

Emotional and Caregiver Support
Counseling hotlines and caregiver support groups assist family caregivers in relieving stress and building mutual support networks.

Women’s Participation in Elderly Care
Grassroots women are trained to become “Neighborhood Elderly Care Companions,” fostering a spirit of community support and promoting intergenerational care.

Through these services, Women’s Hope International Federation (WHIF) not only focuses on the physical and mental health of seniors but also strives to promote community integration and intergenerational interaction—ensuring that the elderly can enjoy life with dignity and compassion.
